For over 30 years Alison Hammond has been dedicated to the hair and beauty industry. Beginning as an apprentice hairdresser in 1989 winning numerous state and national awards , I.H.S , H.B.I.A and Loreal industry awards in cutting, styling and colour.
Opening her first business at 24 years of age in Elwood, Melbourne, she nurtured a discreet yet high profile clientele including some of the worlds local and international actors, musicians, designers and celebrities for over ten years.
During this time she became involved in session styling , fashion week shows , wedding and special occasion hair and make up which featured in Melbourne Wedding and Bride covers and shoots.
Alison holds a Diploma in Hairdressing, Make up and Salon management. She believes ongoing training is what keeps stylists at the forefront of the industry.
Alison has recently changed direction with her business and is now operating as a freelance stylist and makeup artist from Fever Salon in Blackrock.
This enables her the flexibility with her hours to work on or off location, and offering her clients more of a one on one boutique experience servicing her clients from start to finish.
